Om
ōm ॐ (Aum) – Om is the sacred sound of the Universe, where all other sound originates from. Om opens us to the spiritual space of silence, in between sound – a space of deep sacredness. Om also refers to consciousness (awakening), compassion and how all life is intricately connected.
Śūnyatā
Śūnyatā शून्यता (Sh-oon-yah-tah) – In Buddhism, Śūnyāta is often translated to emptiness, spaciousness and nothingness. The pure silence that emerges from this sacred place, also opens us to the concept of impermanence. Emptiness in this context is also about a spiritual space of expansiveness, interconnectedness and the true essence within all existence.
